The Township of Ocean Fire District No. 1 is an autonomous entity responsible for the suppression and prevention of fires and the regulation of fire hazards within the geographic boundaries of Fire District No. 1 Township of Ocean, Monmouth County, NJ.

Fire District No. 1 is funded through a fire tax and governed by a five member Board of Fire Commissioners. The five elected Fire Commissioners are 100% dedicated to serving the residents and taxpayers of the district, and to providing the finest fire protection while keeping fire taxes low.

The Board is proud of the District’s track record in maintaining a balance between low taxes and the highest caliper fire protection equipment and training, in order to serve and protect you.
